About Attorney

A native of Rochester, Henry Teegarden graduated cum laude with Honors from the University of Rochester and cum laude from the University of Buffalo School of Law. He is a Member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.


Mr. Teegarden has been an attorney at a major international media company for 18 years. In addition, he was an Adjunct Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology for five years and has been a guest lecturer for the University of Arizona, Washington College of Law (American University), SUNY Plattsburgh, Nazareth College, the Public Relations Society of the United States, the Rochester Advertising Federation, and the Monroe County Bar Association.


Mr. Teegarden is the Managing Editor and Lead Author for Patents Throughout the World, Designs and Utility Models Throughout the World, Trademark Practice and Forms and the update author of the 2013-2018 Editions of Patent Claims and 2018-2019 releases of Federal Unfair Competition: Lanham Act section 45(a). All of these titles are published by Thomson Reuters.
